Education Project and Sponsorship Program
The scholarship program is in its fourth years bringing opportunities to children and
teenagers to finish their high school and post secondary education. Making this year the
highest number of scholarships to be given to 30 young people from the villages of
Timushan, Pena Blanca and Volcancito.
Sewing Project
The Women Sewing Project got started during the mission in Volcancito, providing basic
sewing skills and incorporating life skills as an essential component of developing group
dynamics and community engagement with a long term goal of creating a women’s cooperative.
